Description
Primos Pheasant Call
Primos Pheasant Call
- Classic, hardwood barrel for loud, yet true tones
- Specially designed reed for super-loud and raspy cackles
- Great for locating and flushing cock pheasants
The Pheasant call is easy to use. In the early mornings, the call can be used to entice a cock pheasant into giving away his location by answering with a cackle. When you have moved into gun range, use an excited raspy series of cackles, to flush the cock pheasant out for a clear shot.
Instructions:
To use this call, place the call in the ‘V’ between your thumb and index finger. Before you call, close your remaining fingers around the call, forming a loose fit. This makes a natural muffled sound.
Then begin to blow into the call sounding the words ‘Tut’ ‘Tut’ ‘Tut’ ‘Tut’ ‘Tut’.
- To use as a locator blow 5 or 6 notes rapidly, decreasing the volume, and listen for an answer from a cock bird in the distance.
- To use as a flusher, blow excitedly and rapidly to imitate the cackle of a cock pheasant flushing. Remember to blow hard to create a raspy, coarse sound.
